Abstract

An algorithm is presented to solve the problem of stabilizing linear time invariant dincrete systems using output feedback. The algorithm is based on transforming the problem into a functional, a derived sufficient condition for stability, to be minimized using nonlinear optimization techniques. An illustrative example is given to support theoretical investigations.
