Abstract

Needle-punched nonwovens (needle felt (NF), batt on base (B.0.B), and needled reinforced out of textile wastes) are gaining importance for complex application in civil engineering. According to requirements, nonwovens fulfil Various functions, such as filteration.
Two different methods were used to select the best fit type of tested needle punched nonwoven fabrics for usage in sand It was found that needled reinforced nonwoven out of filter.
textile wastes 1180 g/m2, has the following. Adavantages: Reduce capital costs of slow sand filter, increasing run length, Improving filtered water properties, and Saves about 40 cm of sand depth.
