Abstract

This paper presents a frequency domain technique for modelling six-phase transmission lines. Fault studies on six phase systems have been conducted using this model. Also, this work proposes an ultra high speed relaying scheme based on the concept of travelling waves, Fault studies to a sample six phase network have also been presented. The paper also discusses a novel and straightforward technique for Laplace transform inversion.
