Abstract

The research deals with defining the desert hinterland, its locations in the delta of Egypt, its most important development goals, and methods of applying some criteria (natural, environmental - urban, infrastructure - economic and human), and accordingly a quadruple analysis was made on several criteria and through this the study area - Burullus - was determined. He presented all the criteria, the most important of which is renewable energy, through knowing the renewable energies in the study area, how to use it and its most important applications, through which it provides the opportunity to contribute to achieving a number of important goals for sustainable development, including the following: (1) social and economic development, (2) benefit from Energy, (3) energy security, (4) mitigation of climate change impacts and reduction of environmental and health impacts. Mitigating the dangerous impacts of anthropogenic climate change is considered one of the strong driving forces behind the increase in the use of renewable energy around the world.
It also shows the strong relationship between renewable energies and the environment, as their exploitation leads to reducing pollution and preserving the environment, which leads to raising the area environmentally and transforming Burullus into a natural reserve to be a tourist factor in the study area, which allows the work of the proposed development plan that is not exploited (in the absence of an environmental thought for development) and becomes the region A center for the exploitation of renewable energies and the preservation of the environment, especially as the delta region is low and threatened with drowning due to the global warming process resulting from pollution.
