ABSTRACT This research is a modest contribution to the study of men and women between innate equality and forced settlement, which aims to study the definition of equality and the concept of equality from the perspective of Islamic and Western thought, as well as a reference to the comparison between Islamic and Western thought about equality, because Islam came in matters of governance with principles General, suitable for application in all times and places, including the principle of equality, which is closely linked to the principle of justice, which led to equality to be the cornerstone of dealing and relations between people, considering that all humanity is equal among themselves.
