Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was carried out during the two successive seasons 2016 and 2017 to examine the effect of single or combined applications of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) at 2.5 or 5 mg/L and gibberellin (GA3) at 20 mg/L on yield and berries quality in Superior grapevines. The results illustrate that dipping clusters with BAP alone or combined with GA3, at an average berry diameter of 8-10 mm, improved yield, berry quality characteristic such as firmness, total free amino acids, total phenols, total sugars, T.S.S. % and decrease total acidity %, comparing with the control treatment. The best results with regard to quality of Superior berries were obtained with using GA3 at 20 mg/L with BAP at 5 mg/L in all parameters.
