Abstract

Generally speaking, Malaria is a serious parasitic infection that affects both residents and travelers in
tropical climates. Almost all severe forms of malaria are caused by P. falciparum, but serious complications
such as severe anemia, respiratory distress, splenic complications, shock, and multiple organ
dysfunctions. This paper documented a case of UN Peace keeping Forces back to Egypt with malaria
complicated with splenic infarction.
