Abstract

In this paper, an effective estimator for detecting the reference
current of active power filters and Var compensators is presented. The
proposed estimator is adaptive and can be used with nonlinear loads under
frequency excursions of the power source over a wide range. The effectiveness
and accuracy of the proposed method are demonstrated and verified through '
the presented simulation and experimental results.
