هدفت الباحثة دراسة العلاقة بين المواجهة الروحية وسمات الشخصية لدي أمهات أطفال مرحلة التعليم الأساسي من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة , تکونت عينة الدراسة الأساسية من (283) من أمهات الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة , إستخدم في البحث مقياس المواجهة الروحية (من إعداد الباحثة) ومقياس سمات الشخصية إعداد : أماني عبد المقصود (2016) وتوصلت الدراسة إلي وجود علاقة إرتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوي دلالة (0.05) (0.01) بين درجات أمهات الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة علي مقياس المواجهة الروحية ودرجاتهن علي مقياس سمات الشخصية علي مستوي جميع الأبعاد والدرجة الکلية ,وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أمهات الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة علي مقياس المواجهة الروحية تعزي لنوع الطفل المعاق في الدرجة الکلية للمواجهة الروحية وعامل الصبر عند مستوي دلالة (0.01) وفي عامل العطاء الروحي عند مستوي دلالة (0.05) وکانت الفروق لصالح الإناث في حين لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين المجموعتين في عامل المساندة الروحية الإجتماعية , وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أمهات أطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة علي مقياس سمات الشخصية تعزي لنوع الطفل المعاق في الدرجة الکلية لسمات الشخصية وبعد الإتزان الإنفعالي عند مستوي دلالة (0.05) وکانت الفروق لصالح الإناث في حين لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين المجموعتين في الأبعاد (تحمل المسؤلية – الثقة بالنفس – الإنطوائية ) , وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أمهات أطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة علي مقياس المواجهة الروحية تعزي لمستوي تعليمهن في الدرجة الکلية للمواجهة الروحية عند مستوي دلالة (0.05) وعامل المساندة الروحية الإجتماعية عند مستوي دلالة (0.01) وکانت الفروق لصالح الأم المتعلمة , في حين لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين المجموعتين (الأم الأمية – الأم المتعلمة ) في عاملي الصبر والعطاء الروحي ,لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أمهات أطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة علي مقياس سمات الشخصية تعزي للمستوي التعليمي علي مستوي الدرجة الکلية لسمات الشخصية وجميع الأبعاد , لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات أمهات أطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة علي مقياس المواجهة الروحية  ومقياس سمات الشخصية علي مستوي الأبعاد والدرجة الکلية تعزي لنوع إعاقة الطفل . 
The researcher aimed to study the relationship between spiritual coping and personality traits among mothers of children in basic education with special needs .The main sample of the study consisted of (283) mothers of children with special needs . the study uses the spiritual coping scale and the personality traits scale . the results of the study found that there is a correlation relationship with statistical significance at the level of significance (0.05)(0.01) between the degrees of mothers of children with special needs on the level of spiritual coping and their degrees on the scale of personality traits at the level of all dimensions and  the total degree ,there are statistically significant differences between the middle scores of mothers of children with special needs on the scale of spiritual coping attribute the gender of disabled child in total degree of spiritual coping  and patience factor at the level of significance (0.01) the spiritual giving  factor at the significance level (0.05), the difference were in favor of the females ,while there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in the factor of spiritual social support ,there are statistically significant differences between the middle scores for mothers of children with special needs on the personality traits scale attribute the gender of disabled child in the total degree of personality traits and emotional equilibrium at the level of significance (0.05) and the differences were in favor of female while there are no statistically significant differences between the two groups in dimensions (taking responsibility – self confidence – introvert),there are statistically significant differences between the middle scores for mothers of children with special needs on the scale of spiritual coping attribution to the level her education in the total degree of spiritual coping at the level of significance (0.05) and after social spiritual support at the level of significance (0.01) and the differences were in favor of the educated mother ,while no there are statistically significant differences between the two groups (illiterate mother- educated mother ) in the factors of patience and spiritual giving ,there are no statistically significant differences between the middle scores for mothers of children with special needs on the personality traits scale attributed to the educational level of the total degree of personality traits and all dimensions ,There are no statistically significant  differences between the middle scores for mothers of children with special needs on the scale of spiritual coping  and personality traits at the level of dimension and the total scores attribute the gender of disability of the child .
