تؤثر المهارات السمعية للأطفال بدرجة کبيرة على اکتساب الجوانب المختلفة للغة لدى الأطفال عامة، وأطفال الشلل الدماغي خاصة. ولهذا فقد هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين المهارات السمعية والتعبير اللغوي لدي لأطفال الشلل الدماغي. وتکونت عينة البحث من (35) طفلاً وطفلة من الأطفال المصابين بالشلل الدماغي، (25) ذکور، (10) اناث، بمراکز ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بمحافظة المنيا، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي. وتضمنت أدوات الدراسة: مقياس أبو حسيبه للنمو اللغوي، ومقياس ـ خيري علي الحمراوي للمهارات السمعية. وناقش البحث المهارات السمعية لأطفال الشلل الدماغي، والتعبير اللغوي لديهم في ضوء الدراسات السابقة. وقد أسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة احصائياً بين بعض أبعاد المهارات السمعية، والتعبير اللغوي لدي الاطفال المصابين بالشلل الدماغي، کما أوصي البحث بضرورة تدريب القائمين علي تعليم أطفال الشلل الدماغي وتوعيتهم بکيفية التعرف علي خصائص المهارات السمعية بهدف تنمية اللغة لديهم.
Auditory skills usually affect language development among normal children and children with Cerebral Palsy. Current research aims at  identification of the relationship between the auditory skills of cerebral palsy children and their language development. Research sample consisted of (35) children with cerebral palsy (25) males, (10) females, in centers for people with special needs in Menia Governorate. Using descriptive approach the present study tested the research subjects. Study tools included : Abu Haseeba scale for language development and the auditory skills scale of Khairy Ali Al-Hamrawi. The research discussed the auditory skills cerebral palsy children and their language development in the light of previous studies. Results revealed a statistically significant correlation between some dimensions of auditory skills and language development among children with cerebral palsy. The research recommended the necessity of training those in charge of educating cerebral palsy children to identify auditory skills to develop children of Cerebral Palsy language skills.
