Abstract

The presence or absence of the different anthraquinone derivatives in Cassia species are recorded. The derivatives are studied by paper and thin-layer chromatography before and after hydrolysis and oxidative hydrolysis, Chromatographic and spectral data are recorded as well as their quantities. Some morphological aspects and numerical values are mentioned.
