Abstract

Further investigation of the dried aerial parts of Crotalaria thebaica (Del.) DC. led to the isolation of two isoflavone aglycons; Biochanin A and Genistein, an isoflavone-​O-​glucoside; Biochanin A-​7-​O-​β-​glucoside, 2 isoflavone C-​glycosides identified as 8-​C-​glucosyl genistein and 6,​8-​di-​C-​glucosyl biochanin A and a saponin glycoside identified as robinioside C Me ester .  
The identification of the isolated compds. was based on chem. and spectral studies.
