α-​Amyrin, stigmasterol, bergapten, stigmasterol-​3-​O-​β-​D-​glucoside, kaempferol-​3-​O-​β-​D-​glucoside, benzyl-​glucoside, quercetin-​3-​O-​β-​D-​glucoside, 6-​hydroxykaempferol-​7-​O-​β-​D-​glucoside, and quercetin-​3-​O-​β-​D-​rutinoside were isolated for the first time from the ethanolic ext. of the leaves of Ficus infectoria (Roxb.) cultivated in Egypt.  Identification of these compds. has been established by phys. and spectral data (UV, IR, MS, ¹H- and ¹³C-​NMR) as well as by comparison with authentic samples.
