The study deals with the extent of knowledge and presence of the graduates of the Egyptian library and information departments on Arab and foreign Freelance platforms, jobs and specialized works in the field of libraries and information, as well as alternative jobs in which they can apply the skills of the field of libraries and information, and the most important general and specialized skills necessary for Freelance. The research also addresses the extent of satisfaction with Freelance and income, and the advantages and disadvantages of Freelance from the point of view of the study members. The study revealed the following: Those who have knowledge of freelance via the Internet account for 73.6%, while the percentage of those who have continuous accounts on freelance platforms, whether Arab or foreign, 23.6% of The total number of study members, while 76.3% are not continuing or do not have accounts on Freelance, and that most of the tasks/areas of work carried out by the study members from the graduates of library and information departments through Arab and foreign freelance platforms are technical services (indexing/indexing/objective analysis) They are the basic technical services in the field at 37.5%, followed by data entry in the second place with 31.3%, and the second place also participates in the development and design of web sites development, as for the most prominent jobs/alternative tasks carried out by the study members: academic research and research market in third place with 25%, followed by content creation/development.
