Abstract

يناقش البحث الاختلافات بين الجعارين الموجودة في المقابر الخاصة التي ترجع لعصر الأسرة الثامنة عشرة، التي عُثر عليها أثناء الحفائر التي قام بها فريق التنقيب السويدي المصري بين عامي 2015 و2016 في جبانة الدولة الحديثة في الضفة الشرقية لجبل السلسلة. وقد تم توثيق سبعة جعارين وجارابويد واحد حتى الآن، ويفترض أن تکون مملوکة من قبل المجتمع المحلي حول محاجر الحجر الرملي. الجعارين کلها مزين بالعلامات الهيروغليفية بما في ذلک أسماء فرعون الأسرة الثامنة عشر 'تحوتمس الثالث‘ وابنه 'أمنحتب الثاني‘.
