Abstract

This study aimed to: 1 - determine extension needs of rural women regarding decreasing of food contamination at home by: determine their practices level and their attitude level toward food contamination. 2 - determine relationship between each of practices level, attitude level and some independent variables like : respondent woman's age, here education, numbers of sons and education of sons . Data were collected by personal observation and personal interviews using questionnaires from 200 rural women at seven villages in Banger El Soakar in Alexandria govemorate . The results of this study indicated that:- The majority of respondent women (64,5 %) their practices level regarding decreasing food contamination was low. - The majority of respondent women their attitude level (76 %) was neutral and 18% their attitude was loyalist towards decreasing food contamination.
