The problem of the study is that in spite of the importance of technology in Egyptian agriculture .The farmers adoption of this Technolgy is still weak decrease in production averages of grain crops (wheat, maize, rice) in Sharkia Governorate for it is considered one of the main Governorates aims to produce these crops. The study aims at identifying the effect of the economic efficiency in grain crops production by using modem technology. The study examines recognizing the economic efficiency of the current applied technology and the effects of the different technology packages on the productivity. The study has used both descriptive and quantitative statistical analysis for the available data such as (ANOVA) and time series analysis. And used production function to measure the effects of technology change on the production of the studied crops. The results concluded the fellowing recommendations: It is necessary to provide improved seeds with reasonable prices. Increasing the role of Government in controlling seed companies. Farmers must be advised to recognize the importance to use
new agricultural machinery to reduce loss in production.
