Abstract

The present study was conducted to evaluate some toologirel aspects of the pink bollworm, Pearnophora gaSsyptiYa (Sound.) exposed as nevey hatched larvae to gamma irradiation doses of 5, 10, 20, 40 & 80 Gy. Also, the newiy hatched larvae were treated by LCsa of the bio-pestiode compound, Meet-2x and its exposure to gamma irradiabon, in addition to Spinosad and Dipel-2x + Spinosad treatments. The folIcering biological aspects were studied, larval duration, larval mortality percentage, pupal duration, pupal mortality percentage, mak and female adult longevity, adult mortality percentage, pre-deposition, ompostion, post-oviposrtion periods, life cycle, egg laying rate (no. of egg/ female), egg hatching rate (no. of hatched egg/female) and the percentages of egg hatchability, control of hatchability, fecundity and sterefity. %Then the pick bolhvorm treated as retily hatched larvae oath I.C.iss of tacimsecbcidas, it could be mentioned that Dipeli2x caused the lowest latent effect on the most biological aspects. However, Dipel-2x exposed to gamma irradiation doses of 5, 10, 20, 40 & bU Gy caused a potentiation delayed effect on the studied biological parameters especially when combined with 40 & 80 Gy of gamma irradiation. Gamma irradiation doses caused a moderate delayed effect especially ivith 40 & 80 Gy when compared with the other irradiation doses of 5, 10 & 20 Gy. Dipel-2x + Sprnosad proved to be the most efficient treatment showing the highly latent effect on the biological aspects for the pest, followed by Spinosad alone.
