Abstract

Twenty seven species in eight genera from the two subfamilies under investigation were recorded in literature from Egypt, of which eight species not represented in the Egyptian collections ang were obtained from Tel Aviv University Collection (TAU) and adbed to Plant Protection Research Institute Collection. These species are: Chrysolina peregrine impavida Bechyne, 1949, Chrysolina chalates (Germar, 1824), Chrysolina modesty angelica (Reiche and Saulcy, 1858), Chrysolina palmyrensisBechyne, 1955, arysolina sahlbergi (Menetries, 1832) and Colaphellus palaestinus Achard, 1923 from subfamily Chrysomelinae and Maar:roma buettikeriana Daccordi, 1979 and Macrocoma swats L. Medvedev, 1979 from subfamily Eumolpinae.
