This study was deggned to investigate the effect of dietary sumlementatko with three afferent sources of selenium, Set-Mee" (SP), 06Y-NRCE (OS) and scdium selenke, Na1Se03, 45% Se (SS) at levels of 25, 50, 100, 200 and 400 parkg of laykg hen diets COntolmn9 arkfcred palm 0.1 (as a ne6*$onal to agent) on egg yolk and albumen nalenium concentrations. At 35 wits of age, 255 Oinunrah kcal strain laying hens were randomly divkled Ito seventeen equal groups. The that group was fed the Mel inler rfiet (containing the adequate text of Se, 0.13 mg/kg CM) and served as posithe coNsce diet (40:00, whereas, birds of the second group were fed the basal diet Mad, coraained the coldized palm 61 and free from Se supolementadon and served as negative contrrol diet (-Cad). Ms from the third to seventeenth groups were fed the negadve control diet (-Cent) supplemented with either SP, OS or SS as sources of Se for two laying periods (35-39 and 39-43 Ms). Each source of Se was supNernented at NT experimental dietary levels (25, 50, 100, 200 and 400 pg/kg diet). The most Important results could be summarized as follow= 1- Sel.Plex"' (SP) marked statistkan the highest value (411.66 and 119.33 ng/g) of ye& Se ecmantratIon (Y Se Con) and aiturnen Se 0:menhaden (la Se Con), resPectin9Y. The corresponding values of +Cart and —Coot treatments were 100.50, 38.33 and 60.00, 16.66 ng/g, In the same order. 2- Groups fed 400 pg of Sello3 diet gave stadddseEY the highett value of Y Se Can and Al Se Con (321.76 and 92 ng/g), whereas, the lowest values true obtained with levels of 25 pp Se/log diet (196.43 and 48 ng/g). 3- The highest values cf Y Se Can and Al Se Con were cedened at the end of the that laying perbd (35-39 vies), being 26846 and 71.73 nalg• Hearrehle, the second period (39-43 Mrs) shorted statistic* the kr...est values. 4- Addition of 5P resulted In the highest values of Y Se Con and A Se ED, being 411.66 ng/9 and 12.87 %. Ccotrol-grcuPs (+Cont and bbl) mooted the Lowest values.
