The research aimed mainly at studying the current situation of the agricultural advisory councils, and to determine development requirements of these councils in some governorates of Egypt from the perspective of the respondents, and also to determine differences approval respondents average degrees on each of among these administrative, organizational, and legislative development requirements, as well as to determine differences among respondents total approval averages degrees studied development requirements according to the difference of their governorates. A sample of councils were selected randomly from three governorates: El-behira, Sharika, and Sohag, the sample encompassed 22 agricultural advisory council represented 50.0% of the total number of these councils in the three governorates, and a sample of 152 respondents represent 23 % selected from the total members population. Data were collected by personal interview using a pretested questionnaire during months of October and November of 2010. frequencies, percentages, weighted arithmetic mean, relative average and ( F ) test were used for analyzing the study data.
