Abstract

This study aims at determining the performance level of agricultural technical secondary schools as a total of its three sub levels which is the effectiveness of each of (a)Interactions between the school and the community , (B) school mangement, (c) The educational process ,The determinationof the related and the defined factors for this performance . The main problems facing the performance of the agricultural technical secondary schools in Alxandria and Behera Governorates ,This study was conducted on a systematic random sample of (135) respondents (Expert teacher) in the three agricultural technical secondary schools in Alxandria and Behera Governorates (Eras Elsoda,Damanhour ,Naser).Data were collected by personal interviews & pre–tested questionnaire during Mars 2012, Arithmetic mean , standard deviation, also person simple , correlation coefficient , and multiple correlation and regression analysis ( step – wise ) were used to analyze the data , in addition to frequencies and percentages. The main results of this study revealed that : 1- 37.04 % , 51.85 % , 11.11& % of respondents were from in low , moderate and high categories concerning their interactions between the school and the community. 2- 8.88 % ,60.74 % & 30.38 % of respondents were from low , moderate and high categories concerning their administrative efficiency. 3--38. 52 % ,51.85 % & 9.63 % of respondents were from low , moderate and high categories concerning their efficiency of the educational process . 4-32.59 % , 42.22 % , 25.19 % of respondents were represented in low , moderate and high categories concerning the performance level of agricultural technical secondary schools. , Six independent variables significantly affected the performance level of agricultural technical secondary schools , and explained (9.8%) of its variation these variables were : , rural original, school laws and regulation ,the monthly meeting of students parents in school and regular attendance of students The results showed that there are :5- Thirty four problems facing the respondents concerning the performance level of agricultural technical secondary schools and these problems could be divided into sections : 1- problems of students which were : the school agreed the student who had low score, bad behavior of student ,the student un ability to read and write Arabic. 2- problems of teacher which were : lack of training courses the teachers feeling that the society does not appreciate them. 3- problems of efficiency of the educational process which are :the school curriculum is not appropriate for the student as quality, and quantity. School supplies is in complete.& Education unlinked to the labor market. 4 - problems of management which are the bad behavior of the school administration and, un care of parents council meetings
