Abstract

With this article we intend to extract the main causes of our Egyptian postgraduate students to continue making mistakes in the use of the verb 'to have' when they writing a free theme. Through this analysis we want to know the difficulties faced by this group of 12 Egyptian students. In order to give a turn both in the form and in the way of transmitting grammatical content to our students. In the test carried out by the group of informants, based on a free essay on a topic in Spanish (in which they must use verb auxiliary), we have detected a total of 95 errors, being able to verify that in the use of the verb 'to have' as an auxiliary of the compound tenses in written production tasks, our students continue to make errors, so we must influence the grammatical contents from a perspective different methodology.
