الملخص ليس هناک شک في أن فئة المسنين عامة تحتاج إلى الرعاية والاهتمام من جانب الأسرة و الدولة على حد سواء فإن فئة المسنين من ذوي الأعاقة أکثر إحتياجا وأولى بالرعاية والاهتمام وذلک نظرا لما تعانيه من مشکلات متعددة من الجانبين – مشکلات الشيخوخة من جانب ومشکلات الإعاقة من جانب آخر – وکذلک نظرا  لما لهم من احتياجات مختلفة کما ونوعا ، والتي يمثل عدم إشباعها عبئا إضافيا على أعباء وضغوط حياتهم، حيث تُمثل مشکلة الإعاقة خطورة کبيرة على المجتمع ويُقاس تقدم المجتمع ونهضته بمدى الرعاية المُقدمة لهؤلاء المعاقين وتختلف الرعاية من فئة إلى أخرى حسب شدة ونوع الإعاقة التى يعانى منها المعاق وما يسببه ذلک فى ندرة البرامج التى تُقدم لهم کلاً حسب إعاقته وتنتمى هذه الدراسة إلى نمط الدراسات الوصفية التحليلية التى تهدف إلى تحديد آليات تحقيق الأمن الشخصى للمسنين ذوى الإعاقة واشکال وأنماط الرعاية الاجتماعية ، طبقت على عينة قوامها ١٢٤ مفردة من الممارسيين والأکاديميين بمجال رعاية المسنين وأسفرت أهم نتائج هذه الدراسة أن فئة المسنين ذوى الإعاقة بحاجة إلى الشعور بالأمن والطمأنينة نتيجة عدم توفير الدعم المعنوى والشخصى لهم الکلمات المفتاحية: الآليات – الأمن الشخصي – المسنين ذوى الإعاقة .   Summary:   Prepared by the researcher: Wessam Mahmmoud Wasseem   There is no doubt that the elderly category in general needs care and attention on the part of the family and the state alike. The category of elderly people with disabilities is more needy and more worthy of care and attention, due to the multiple problems it suffers from on both sides - aging problems on the one hand and disability problems on the other. As well as due to their different needs quantitatively and qualitatively, the failure to satisfy them represents an additional burden on the burdens and pressures of their lives, where the problem of disability represents a great danger to society. This study belongs to the type of analytical descriptive studies that aim to determine the mechanisms for achieving personal security for the elderly with disabilities and the forms and patterns of social care, applied to a sample of 124 individuals from practitioners and academics in the field of care Elderly, the most important results of this study revealed that the category of elderly people with disabilities needs a sense of security and reassurance as a result of not providing them with moral and personal support.
