الملخص:        المسنين في أي مجتمع يمثلون ثروة قومية، لما يمتلکونه من الخبرة والتجربة، ورجاحة العقل، والقيمة، والحکمة، فهم أکثر نضجاً، وأبعد نظراً، وأکثر عدلاً واتزاناً، في تقديرهم للأمور، لذا حظيت قضايا ومشکلات واحتياجات المسنين بإهتماماً بالغاً، المسنون أکثر الفئات تعرضاً للأمراض والمشکلات دون غيرهم من فئات المجتمع الأخرى مما قد يضعف قدرة بعض المسنين على أداء أدوارهم الاجتماعية، ويحتاج المسنون إلى فهم ومشارکة وجدانية وتقبل المجتمع لهم حتى يستطيعوا مواصلة رحلة حياتهم في جو ملائم من الإشباع وبيئة ملائمة يجدون فيها حمايتهم وسعادتهم وإشباع حاجاتهم الشخصية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والطبية، وأن تتوفر لهم البرامج الثقافة والترويحية والمهنية التي توافق سنهم وذلک من خلال تحقيق المساندة الاجتماعية لهم والذي هي الأساس في دعم حياة المسنين وزيادة قوتهم لمواجهة ضغوط الحياة،وذلک باستخدام المساندة الاجتماعية مع المسنين لتحقيق الحماية الاجتماعية لهم ،لذلک فقد استهدفت هذه الدراسة تحديد واقع المساندة الاجتماعية للمسنيين الفقراء ببرامج الحماية الاجتماعية، وتحديد العلاقة بين متغيرات المساندة الاجتماعية وتحقيق الحماية الاجتماعية للمسنين الفقراء، وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة الي وجود علاقة طردية بين متغيرات المساندة الاجتماعية وتحقيق الحماية الاجتماعية للمسنيين الفقراء . الکلمات المفتاحية: المساندة الإجتماعية- الحماية الاجتماعية- المسنين. Abstract: The elderly in any society represent a national wealth, because they possess the experience and experience, the weighting of the mind, value, and wisdom, they are more mature, farther and more fair, and more balanced, in their appreciation of things, so issues, problems and needs of the elderly received great attention, the elderly are the most vulnerable groups to diseases And problems without other groups of society, which may weaken the ability of some elderly people to perform their social roles, and the elderly need to understand, participate, emotionally and accept society for them so that they can continue their life journey in an appropriate atmosphere of gratification and an appropriate environment in which they find their protection and happiness and satisfy their personal, social, economic and medical needs, And that they have the cultural, recreational and professional programs that match their age through achieving social support for them, which is the basis in supporting the lives of the elderly and increasing their strength to face the pressures of life, by using social support with the elderly to achieve social protection for them, so this study aimed to determine the reality of social support For poor people with social protection programs, and defining the relationship between social support variables and achieving protection Social for the poor elderly, and the results of the study found that there is a direct relationship between the variables of social support and achieving social protection for the poor elderly .Key words: social support, social protection, elderly people
