Abstract

Physical Geographical characteristics of Doha port in Qatar
   Study of the Physical geographical characteristics affecting the genesis and evolution of the Doha Port shows the impact of natural factors on the Port, such as location and situation, Climatic and marine conditions. The shape of the coast and the islands in front of it as Al-Saflya island  helped in formation of the port. Climatic conditions, such as wind and its effect on port constructions and wharfs directions.
   The main problem facing the Doha Port is the traffic jams, the best solution to this problem is the establishment of a new port away from the city of Doha and the current port.
