The concept of tourism goes beyond the different dimensions of development, economic, social, environmental and even political, Tourism activities have affected on all aspects of the sector in order to achieve comprehensive development. This research paper shows the natural and cultural and historical capabilities of Algeria, the signs of sustainable tourism development in Algeria and the implementation of the quality scheme to achieve the sustainability of tourism. The aim of this study is to identify these components and show the reality of applying the principles of sustainability to Algerian tourism activities, which have controlled with the government since the 2003 law on sustainable tourism development. The results of this research were that the development of Algerian tourism is an essential target for all dealers in the sector and related sectors, in order to put their projects in a sustainable environment. The researcher recommended the necessity of paying attention of the tourism industry and the necessity of implementing the plans and programs for tourism development.
