Abstract

Characterized tourist activity multiplicity of patterns , and most important of these patterns of medical tourism , which represent a pattern distinct from the patterns of tourism different and that profitable and increase the national income and is interested in the developed countries of tourism in this pattern because of the importance of economic , has been known to man to travel for the purpose of hospitalization for a long time and so attributed to the Roman era , where known resorts hospital which was providing services and facilities in order to contribute to the treatment of many diseases such as rheumatism , cosmetic surgery dental treatment and obesity surgery and other ailments among citizens and usually practiced for a complete cure or palliation of pain.. Accordingly racing countries in the world with tourism potential to attract tourists to the treatment and hospitalization from all over the world relying on what are characterized by both at the Medical Center or at the normal level of natural resources with therapeutic properties , as well as institutions, hotel and tourism , which are denominated in a fundamental and necessary component of medical tourism . Because of the importance represented by the tourism industry , especially medical tourism in the system of the national economy of the country , it must increase the competitiveness of the tourism industry at the global level and to increase the contributions of the tourism sector in advancing economic development , and that by attracting larger numbers of tourists coming to the tourist destination of Egypt with the situation into account what is closely linked to this goal of the need to diversify the tourism product and the expansion in the form of hotel rooms , which accommodate the target numbers of tourists .
