In spite of its prominent importance and the diversity of its tourism resources (such as mountains, valleys, sulfur water eyes, nature reserves, rare medicinal and other plants, virgin beaches and pure red sea water), historical roads in Egypt are not developed in a way that is commensurate with its position and Richness of its resources. These roads suffer from neglect and the absence of tourism development plans, as well as problems with regard to methods of restoration and archaeological excavations. Moreover, there are not a sufficient number of tourism studies that stand on the reasons why these wealthy areas are not being developed in tourism or are exposed to effective methods of developing them within the framework of sustainability.
