Abstract

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the toxic effects of aflatoxin on some hematological and immunological parameters and to determine the preventive effectiveness of added antimycotoxins.
In the study, a total of 150 broilers were separated equally into 6 groups. group (I): fed the normal diet, group (II): fed diet contains antimycotoxin (chemical synthetic), group (III): fed diet contains antimycotoxin (biological synthtic), group (IV) fed diet contains 500 μg aflatoxin/ kg diet + diet mix antimycotoxins (chemical synthetic), group (V):  fed diet contains 500 μg aflatoxin / kg diet + diet mix antimycotoxin (biological synthtic), group (VI): fed diet contains 500 μg aflatoxin / kg diet. Concerning the hematological findings at the end of experiment of the groups (VI) and (VI) revealed microcytic hypochromic anemia with leucopenia, neutropenia and lymphocytopenia compared to control healthy group. While groups (III) and (V) revealed an increase in RBCS count, Hb concentration and PCV, beside increased leucocyte, neutrophils and lymphocytes counts. The immunological parameter results showed a significant decrease in all measured parameters (IgG, IgM, IL-1, IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-alpha) in groups IV and VI when compared with control healthy group .But increased in groups (III and V) when compared with control healthy one.
