يمر الاقتصاد المصري بفترة حرجة، في وقت تحول البلاد إلى الديمقراطية0رغم أثار عدم الاستقرار على مدى الثلاثين سنة الماضية مع تنفيذ الإصلاح الاقتصادي، حيث تحظى المطالب السياسية بالأسبقية0 ومحاولات إنعاش الاقتصاد منذ انتهاج سياسة الانفتاح- "الباب المفتوح" في منتصف سبعينيات القرن الماضي0 وساهمت برامج الإصلاح المتعاقبة في تفشي الفقر الذي کان بمثابة محرک  ثورة عام2011م0 کما طلب من الحکومة الانتقالية بقيادة المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة انتخاب البرلمان والرئاسة، وتلبية المطالب الشعبية، مما أدي إلى زيادة العجز نتيجة استمرار سياسات توسع الإنفاق العام مع تزامن مرحلة التحول مع الانکماش في الاقتصاد العالمي في مجال الاستهلاک المحلي، والاستثمار، والسياحة وغيرها0وأن تحقيق فرص التنمية المستدامة من خلال الاستفادة من تجربة البرازيل التنموية .
Abstract: 
     The Egyptian economy is going through a critical period, at a time when the country is transitioning to democracy, despite the effects of instability over the past thirty years with the implementation of economic reform, where political demands take precedence, and attempts to revive the economy since the adoption of the “open door" policy in the mid-1970s. The successive outbreak of poverty, which was the engine of the revolution in 2011, also asked the transitional government led by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to elect parliament and the presidency, and meet popular demands, which led to an increase in the deficit as a result of the continuation of the policies of expanding public spending with the phase of transformation coinciding with the downturn in the global economy in the field of Domestic consumption, investment, tourism, etc., and achieving sustainable development opportunities by benefiting from Brazil's development experience
