Abstract

The research problem was: that although the area of the hibiscus crop in Aswan governorate represents about 55% of its cultivated area at the level of the Republic, and the profitability of the crop in the governorate exceeds that of the competing crops, it was noticed that the feddan yield of the crop in Aswan is lower than its counterparts at the level of the Republic. During school years
The results showed: that the area cultivated with the hibiscus crop in Aswan Governorate during the period (2001-2019) took a general and statistically significant increasing trend, with an increase of about 3.63% of the average cultivated area during the same period, and that productivity took an increasing general trend whose significance was not statistically proven. And that Aswan governorate occupies the first place in terms of the area cultivated in Hibiscus, with an area of about 6709.60 acres representing about 55.57% of the total cultivated area in Egypt as an average for the period (2015-2019), and it became clear that Aswan governorate occupies the first rank of the average productivity per feddan of about 0.92 tons / acre, followed by Qena governorate with about 0.77 tons an acre, and Assiut and Luxor come in third and fourth places, as an average for the period (2015-2019)
Upon estimating the economic efficiency of agricultural resources at the total level of inputs and outputs, the highest value of the per feddan net return was achieved in the third holding category, followed by the first, and then the second, where it amounted to about 5692, 5487.
