استهدف البحث الحالي تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي الأکثر مناسبة للتلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة السمعية بالصف الأول الإعدادي، وذلک من خلال استخدام منصة إدمودو، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم إعداد قائمة بمهارات الفهم القرائي، کما تم إعداد اختبار في مهارات الفهم القرائي، وقد تم تطبيق اختبار الفهم القرائي قبليًا على مجموعة البحث والتي تکونت من (10) من التلاميذ والتلميذات ذوي الإعاقة السمعية بالصف الأول الإعدادي، وتم التدريس لهذه المجموعة باستخدام منصة إدمودو، ثم تطبيق اختبار الفهم القرائي بعديًا على هذه المجموعة، وقد توصل البحث إلى فاعلية استخدام منصة إدمودو في تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي لدى التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة السمعية بالصف الأول الإعدادي.
 
Using edmodo platform for developing the preparatory stage hearing-impaired pupils' reading comprehension
Abstract                                                                                                        
The aim of the present research is to develop the most suitable reading comprehension skills among the first-grade preparatory stage hearing-impaired pupils, through the use of the Edmodo platform. To achieve this goal, a list of reading comprehension skills was prepared, and a test was prepared in reading comprehension skills, and a reading comprehension test. The present study followed the one group pre/post- test design. In this design, the dependent variables are measured before and after the experiment. The reading comprehension test was administered to the sample (N=10) prior the application of the strategy as a pretest.  After teaching the study sample using the edmodo platform, the reading comprehension test was post administered. Findings of the study revealed that the reading comprehension skills were developed among the first-grade preparatory stage hearing-impaired pupils as a result of teaching using the edmodo platform
