This study aimed mainly at identifying the obstacles to the application of integrated water resources management from the viewpoint of The Agricultural Extension personnel, The study was conducted in all administrative centers governorates of Qena. The population of the study consisted of extension material specialist and agricultural extension agents, and a random sample of (90) respondents was drawn from them. The data of this study were collected during the months (July and August) of 2021 using the personal interview questionnaire method. frequencies, and percentages, and the arithmetic mean, standard deviation were used for data presentation and analysis.
The most important results of the study are : 1- The obstacles that came in the first centers are the lack of utilization of treated sewage water with a relative weight of 75.19%, followed by the lack of counselors, especially those working in water extension, with a relative weight of 74.81%. 2- The following solutions came: increasing wages, providing appropriate financial allocations for the role of water extension came in the first centers with a relative weight of 85%, followed by providing support for extension centers with water supplies and programs in second place with a relative weight of 83,89%.
