يحتل المؤرخ الإيطالي فرانشيسکو جابريللى مکانة بارزة من بين المستشرقين الإيطاليين. وقد أصدر دراسات مهمة بعنوان : مؤرخو الحروب الصليبية العرب. يسلط البحث الضوء على المؤرخ الإيطالي المذکور ورؤية لعصر الحروب الصليبية من خلال کتابة المذکور الذي أورد فيه نصوصًا کاملة لمؤرخين مسلمين معاصرين للأحداث.   Abstract: The Italian Historian Francesco Gabrieli has special place among the Italian orientalists. He published several important works. One of them is Arab historians of the crusades. This paper focuses on Francesco Gabrieli Vision towards age of the crusades through his work in which he mentioned complete texts of Muslim contemporary historians of the crusades.
