The Coccophaginae parasitoids ( Hymenoptera' Aphelinidae) can play a distinguished role in control of armored scale insects (Hemoptera Diaspididae) in Egypt, The present work deals with the survey of subfamily Coccophaginae and its role in controlling the armored scale insect in Egypt. Abundance of these parasitoids was carried out on 6 host plants attacking by 8 armored scale insects in 7 governorates . The resuits indicated that ten species of subfamily Coccophaginae attacking armored scale insects in Egypt. Thses are Encarsia aurantii‘ {l—oward), Encarsra ber/esei (Howard), nears/a Citrina Craw, Encarsi‘a tourism/yr Beriese & Paoli, Pteroptri'x aegypti‘ca Evans & Abd-Rabou ,Coccobl'us sp.,. Coccophagoids kumanai' (Silvestri),. Coccophagords si'mr/i'es (Masi), Encarsr'a perni‘cios/ (Tower), Pteroptn'x bi'co/or (Howard).
