Two field experiments were conducted at Om-Sin Village. EI-Ryade Sector. Kafr EI-Sheikh Governorate during 2000/2001 and 2001/2002 seasons. to evaluate
gro ..•• /th. yield and its components for 12 genotypes (i.e. Giza 7; Giza 8; Sakha 1;
Sakha 2; Belinka; Strain 6; Strain 7; Strain 8; Strain 12; Strain 13; Strain 16 and
Strain 19). Growth measurement were recorded at 60. 90 and 120 days after planting
date. Data revealed that plant height and dry weight per plant continued to
, iricrease until the last sampling date. Significant differences were found between flax
genotYpes for the three growth characteristics at all sampling dates. Significant
