Abstract

Kima Z (Kl) was the most effective fungicide on mycelial growth of the causal
organism of rice blast disease (Pyricularia oryzae) followed by Rubigan. while Capax
was the lowest effective one. Hinosan and Seam. were the most effective fungicides
on leaf and panicle blast infection, while Rubigan was i:-:e lowest effective one in the
two investigated growing seasons 2003 and 2004. The highest plant fresh weight,
plant dry ~ight, 1000-grain weight and yield were obtained with Hinosan and Beam,
while the lowest plant dry weight, plant fresh weight, 10OQ-grain weight and yield were
found with RUbigan in the two tested growing seasons (2003 and 2004).
