questionaire was collected and date were analysed and display as
precentages, frequency tables , means , standard diviation , simple
correlations, and Qai square. The mean results of this study were the
following:
1- Low knowledge level. of most studied farmers of technical skills needed
to grow and produce date palm specially in the the areas of date palm
propagation, pests and diseases, paking or harvesting , postharvest
treatments of dates, and lack of some skills in the areas flowering,

utilization were correlated with the growers knowledge of date palm
production practises , it was found that Qai square values or such
variables were 18.845,23.402, and 13.023 respectively ( at 0.01 level ).
