Abstract

The Egyptian climate and crop rotations are suitable for the Bee Honey Production, that lead to increasing the efficiency of growing bee honey at lower costs. But the total production of bee honey and wax don't reflex these advantages, because of the problems concerning bee honey. So this paper aimed studying some economic variables related to production, productivity, and the prices of bee honey and wax, through the period (1996-2005). The results indicated that the lower Egypt come in the first class with respect to the foreign and total cells of bee honey production, and the upper Egypt come in the first class with respect to the domestic cells of bee honey production. Also the results indicated that the middle Egypt come in the first class with respect to the productivity and of domestic bee honey, and the upper Egypt come in the first class with respect to the productivity of foreign bee honey. Also the results indicated that the middle Egypt come in the first class with respect to the total production of bee honey, and the upper Egypt come in the first class with respect to the total production of domestic bee honey, while the middle Egypt come in the first class with respect to the total production of foreign bee honey. The study recommended that, increase the foreign cells of bee honey and decrease the pesticides in production places, concentrating the production of bee honey in the places of the flowers cultivating that have nectar, also protection the bee honey of naturals enemies.
