The Egyptian climate and crop rotations are suitable for the Bee Honey
Production, that lead to increasing the efficiency of growing bee honey at
lower costs. But the total production of bee honey and wax don't reflex these
advantages, because of the problems concerning bee honey. So this paper
aimed studying some economic variables related to production, productivity,
and the prices of bee honey and wax, through the period (1996-2005).
The results indicated that the lower Egypt come in the first class with
respect to the foreign and total cells of bee honey production, and the upper
Egypt come in the first class with respect to the domestic cells of bee honey
production.
Also the results indicated that the middle Egypt come in the first class
with respect to the productivity and of domestic bee honey, and the upper
Egypt come in the first class with respect to the productivity of foreign bee
honey.
Also the results indicated that the middle Egypt come in the first class
with respect to the total production of bee honey, and the upper Egypt come
in the first class with respect to the total production of domestic bee honey,
while the middle Egypt come in the first class with respect to the total
production of foreign bee honey.
The study recommended that, increase the foreign cells of bee honey
and decrease the pesticides in production places, concentrating the
production of bee honey in the places of the flowers cultivating that have
nectar, also protection the bee honey of naturals enemies.
