The research topic was terminated conclusion Highlights include the findings and then search bibliography of sources and references. دارا مدينة حدودية هامة بين الدولتين الفارسية والبيزنطية, على عهد الإمبراطور البيزنطي  اناستاسيوس Anastasius (491-518م) تم إعادة أعمار المدينة بغرض  تحويلها إلي قلعة عسکرية حصينة للجيش البيزنطي على حدوده مع الفرس.   ولدراسة هذا التحول الذي شهدته المدينة في عهد الإمبراطور اناستاسيوس  قسمت البحث إلى ثلاثة محاور والخاتمة، تناولت في المحور الأول تأسيس المدينة وما دار من اختلاف ونقاش حول هذا المحور و الأهمية الإستراتيجية للمدينة, وتأتي إشکالية البحث ممثلة في طرح الأسباب التي دفعت البيزنطيين لأحداث هذا التطور على المدينة, و تحديد ما واجه البيزنطيين من عواقب في سبيل الحصول على قلعة حربية حصينة في تلک المدينة المواجهة للحدود الفارسية, وقد أنهيت موضوع البحث بخاتمة تضمنت أبرز ما توصلت إليه من نتائج ثم زيلت البحث بثبت المصادر والمراجع .
