The water was considered as the main nerve of life true to the almighty god: "And we have made of water everything living will they not then believe." (The Prophets 30). Water also was represented by the Greek philosopher Jonio Tales,  the beginning of life for every living thing  ." It was the basis for the creation and demise of civilizations, Even the historian Herodotus describes his centrality in ancient Egyptian civilization: "Egypt is the gift of the Nile".      The use of water throughout the eras  was widespread in various fields of life. In this context, the central Maghreb  was rich in the Islamic era, like other regions, with abundant water resources, a network varied  between the valleys  , fountains and reservoirs that combined wells and water tanks, Which enabled the support of agriculture and pastoralism and increased their returns.  Which has been praised by historians and geographers who have described and analyzed what they have stood for in this aspect through their own personal observations or what they have recorded from the writings of others, following the extent of use of this vital source and its use in the civilizational and military fields.
