Abstract

Abstract: As a matter of fact, nuclear safety, safeguards and security (SSS) are going to be one document approach. The SSS concept focuses mainly on tools and mechanism of nuclear and radiological (including nuclear materials and radioactive sources) facilities control and protection. This approach and synergism are result of lessons learnt from nuclear accidents and nuclear materials smuggling illicit trafficking. This paper illustrates the modern tools, instruments and measures of safety, safeguardability and security of nuclear and radiological facilities.
