ABSTRACT
Generally we assume that the decision-maker is able to give with precision and without
difficulty, the values of the goals associated with the objectives of a decision-making
situation. However, such values may be imprecise in nature. In the present paper, a general
goal programming (GP) model was proposed to solve the aggregate production planning
(APP) problem in an imprecise environment with multiple objectives. The goals and
technological parameters are imprecise and expressed through intervals. The concept of
satisfaction functions is used to integrate explicitly the decision maker‘s (DM) preferences.
