Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of different variables affecting the consumer behavior in Egypt, with a focus on the effect of religious factors and institutions on rationalizing consumption and increasing the tendency to save and hence achieving more growth.
The empirical study on a sample of 500 observations from Cairo university concludes that the religious institution still has important effect between the observations under study in all forms of samples used.
