The objective of the research is to identify the future needs of human resources qualified to achieve the 2030 Vision of Saudi Arabia. And to determine the contribution of the current and future academic programs at the University of Bisha to achieve the vision of 2030.
The descriptive analytical method was implemented, which means collecting data on the problem of research, organizing, analyzing to accurately document the problem of research. During the research period, the data collected constituted of the secondary sources to limit the academic programs available in the Saudi universities and the programs required to achieve the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
Furthermore, the interview between the supply and demand of programs. The results indicated, at the level of institutions of higher education, that 78 undergraduate academic programs are required to achieve the vision of the Kingdom 2030 while the currently available programs at the University of Bisha are 23 undergraduate programs, and 5 other programs which contribute to the achievement of the 2030 vision. The University of Bisha needs 55 academic programs in 12 sectors, At the undergraduate level, in order to contribute to the realization of the 2030 vision of the Kingdom.
The most important recommendations are; the development of a plan to develop 55 academic programs at the University of Bisha that contribute to achieving the 2030 vision and to build a mechanism between the universities and labor market as well as the Ministry of Planning to develop a time map with the programs developed at the Kingdom level, and building learning outcomes targeted to the required programs, or establishing new faculties, building partnerships with corresponding programs. Also, using work performance indicators and benchmark comparisons of quality and quantity systems.
