هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على اتجاهات معلمات الأحياء بالمرحلة الثانوية نحو قضايا الأخلاقيات الحيوية ومدى الوعي بأساليب تدريسها. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والمنهج النوعي. وقد تم تطبيق أداة استبانة على العينة والتي شملت جميع أفراد مجتمع العينة والبالغ (54) معلمة تم اختيارهن بالطريقة القصدية، واختير منهن خمس معلمات بالطريقة العشوائية لتطبيق أداة مقابلة شبه مقننة. وقد أسفر البحث عن مجموعة من النتائج، أبرزها أن متوسط اتجاهات معلمات الأحياء نحو قضايا الأخلاقيات الحيوية في مدينة الرياض إيجابي بشکل عام. وبينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة البحث المتعلقة بالاتجاهات نحو قضايا الأخلاقيات الحيوية باختلاف متغير المؤهل العلمي والخبرة التدريسية، وکشفت أيضًا أن المعلمات يبدين اهتمامًا وتوجهًا إيجابيًا نحو تدريس قضايا الأخلاقيات الحيوية. وأظهرت أن المعلمات يواجهن صعوبات في طرح ومناقشة قضايا الأخلاقيات الحيوية. وبناء على ذلک قدمت الدراسة عددًا من التوصيات.

Abstract:
This research aimed to identify perspectives of high school Biology teachers toward Bioethics issues as well as the level of awareness regarding its teaching methods. To achieve this objective, the researcher followed the descriptive survey and the qualitative methods. The questionnaire tool was used on a sample consists of (54) teachers selected selectively and then (5) teachers were selected randomly from this primary sample to apply a semi-standardized interview tool to them. The research showed a set of results; the average perspectives of high school Biology teachers toward Bioethics issues are generally positive. The results also showed that there was no statistically significant difference between mean scores of the sample members' responses toward the Bioethics issues based on the qualifications and teaching experience. The results also revealed that teachers showed care and positive tendency toward teaching Bioethics issues and they faced difficulty in presenting and discussing these issues. Accordingly, the research provided number of recommendations.
