he research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of digital stories in improving the literal, organizational and inferential reading comprehension skills of English as a second language for fourth grade female students. The researcher followed the semi-experimental approach; the research sample consisted of 34 female students in the fourth grade, divided into two groups, the experimental group consisted of 17 female students and the control group consisted of 17 female student. The sample was randomly selected. The research tool is a test of the literal, organizational and inferential reading comprehension skills of English language, and applied the pre-test on the experimental and control groups to ensure the homogeneity of the two groups,Then the researcher applied the digital stories on the experimental group, while the control group studied the stories in the usual way. The post-test was then appliedon the experimental and control groups. The research indicated that there were statistically significant differences at 0.05 between the experimental and control groups in the post-test to improve the literal, organizational and inferential reading comprehension skills that favor the experimental group.
