Recently many changes appeared in the vocabulary of architecture in Egypt, consequently, this has affected the political, economic, social and cultural life in Egypt and architecture has been greatly influenced by Western architecture, Architecture in Egypt has become a simulation of Western architecture without thinking about the reasons for the existence of these Western trends, Consequently, the research directed to monitor this architectural dependence of palaces in Egypt in the 19th century and how the elements of visual creativity affect on contemporary residential villas and analyze the trends of architecture in Egypt at present, whether local or Western.
 
ظهرت الکثير من التغيرات في مفردات العمارة في مصر في الآونة الأخيرة، وبالتالي قد أثر ذلک على الحياة السياسية والإقتصادية والإجتماعية والثقافية في مصر وتأثرت العمارة بشکل کبير بالعمارة الغربية، وأصبحت العمارة في مصر محاکيه للعمارة الغربية بدون التفکير في أسباب وجود هذه الإتجاهات الغربية، وبالتالي توجه البحث لرصد هذه التبعية المعمارية للقصور في مصر في القرن 19 وکيفية تأثير عناصر الإبداع التشکيلي لها على الفيلات السکنية المعاصرة وتحليل إتجاهات العمارة الموجودة في مصر في الوقت الحالي سواء کانت محلية أو غربية.
