Abstract

Pathogenicity of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) Steinernema carpocapsae DD136 (Weiser), Heterorhabditis indica RM1 and H. bacteriophora HP88 were applied under laboratory conditions. On the fresh water snails, Lymnia natalensis Krauss observation recorded high mortality percentage in infected snails with EPNs. Also, there was a positive correlation between time exposure increase and mortality percentage. Results indicated that EPNs may play an important role as biocontrol agents in integrated pest management (IPM) against L. natalensis.
